The Nest is a dog-friendly Galena retreat in a comfortable 2,100 SF home with everything you need for your getaway in The Galena Territory. It's located only 5 minutes from The Owners Club, 10 minutes from downtown Galena, and 15 minutes from Chestnut Mountain.

This beautifully updated home has a large kitchen with an adjacent dining room—3 BR/3 Baths (each on different levels with flatscreen televisions) with its bathroom or adjacent bathroom. The upper bath has a large whirlpool tub. Three patios, including one screened-in, allow you to dine al fresco in the warmer months. The Nest has two living rooms, each with a fireplace. As well as a whole-home sound system for you and your guests to enjoy music (cue impromptu dance party). The outdoor hot tub, Foosball table, & more on the lower level are excellent ways for you and guests to enjoy spending time together. You'll enjoy all the comforts of home during your time away from home in a stunningly beautiful setting. The Nest - A dog-friendly Galena retreat comfortably sleeps 6-8 guests with five (two kings/one queen/two twin) beds.

The Nest - A dog-friendly Galena retreat is located within The Galena Territory, which offers something for everyone -- golf one of the four golf courses, ride horses at Shenandoah Riding Center, hike the numerous trails, rent a boat, or kayak on Lake Galena. The Galena Territory is a nature lovers paradise; peaceful, away from the city lights, and bountiful sightseeing.

The Nest offers access to the Owner's Club amenities; 6 access cards are provided for use of the indoor and outdoor swimming pools, basketball, pickleball, and tennis courts, Lake Galena, and the Marina. If necessary, additional guest passes may be purchased at the Owners club ($5 per day for anyone over 5 years of age)

**All COVID-19 related restrictions have been lifted for the Owners Club including capacity limits and reservations for most amenities.  There are a few amenities that do still require reservations - indoor pool/lap swimming, tennis courts, pickleball courts, and outdoor basketball courts. This is subject to change if the State of Illinois re-institutes restrictions related to the pandemic. Reservations cannot be guaranteed, and there are no discounts or refunds if the Owner's Club amenities are not available. **
